Welcome to my journal! Here, you’ll find bits and parts of my journey, and all that I love and enjoy most: art, service, learning, medicine, and travel.

I am currently a student with an endless love for humanity, art, photography, traveling, and medicine. I am a visual story-teller. I grew up around artists, and admired all the ways art took shape. I love beautiful golden light, color, genuine people, authentic smiles, and whole-hearted stories. Over the past couple of years, I’ve discovered and delved into art as a way to tell stories that my writing and journals could not. Art and photography has found its way into my studies, service, travels, and life again and again, and I thought perhaps…. it can find a home here too. I want to share the beautiful stories of those around me, those that continually inspire me.

It would be an honor to capture yours.

More about Me:

I studied Biomedical Sciences, and International and Global Studies double major, with interests in Public Policy Research, Medicine, and Global Health. I have aspirations of becoming a physician, but I also want to combat the disparities that exist in healthcare, and play a part in the creation of healthier communities globally.

Despite my ambition in medicine, I started this blog as a creative outlet to stay in grounded to my roots in the arts. My father had always encouraged me to work with my hands: to paint and to draw, and my mother had always shared a love for the creative arts: music and poetry. Both of which influenced a love for art that would last me a lifetime.

I’m pursuing my life long ambition in medicine to become a physician, aspiring to be someone who can make a difference in the world — the world of science and medicine, and in the world of art, creativity, and imagination — for the two worlds collide more times than many recognize.

Here’s to the blog that will keep me feeling so blessed to have all that I do, and all that I am learning; all the intricacies between science and art, culture and medicine, the world and everyone in between. Here’s to the blog that will remind me where I began: motivated and inspired.
